Whether you’re exposed to the sun’s UV rays or visit an indoor tanning salon, every time you tan, your skin is damaged. As this damage builds, you speed up the aging of your skin and increase your risk for all types of skin cancer, including melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. Make sure you are protecting yourself and read more at the link in bio☀️🕶👒 #sunsafety #skincare #skincancerawarenessmonth
#healthequity means everyone has a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer. However, the Black community has the highest death rate and shortest survival of any racial/ethnic group in the US for most cancers. That’s unacceptable. While early detection saves lives and we help ensure access to cancer care and screenings, thanks to partners like @mandt_bank we can and must do more.
